"Chambre un peu exigüe si vous avez de grosses valises. À peine la place pour le porte valise qu’on nous a apporté. Chambre et literie confortables. Personnel serviable et sympathique. Bon choix pour le petit déjeuner mais trop cher par rapport aux comparables. Carte réduite pour le dîner et surtout, plats pas du tout délicieux malgré l’effort de présentation. Nous ne pouvons malheureusement pas recommander le restaurant de l’hôtel. Mais la chambre était adéquate. "

The 1784 building is beautifully designed and restored. Attention to detail, love and grace abound. Breakfast is delicious with fresh breads and croissants, homemade jams, fresh fruit and wonderful French cheeses. The grounds are lovely, even in early spring. I am so happy to have stayed in this charming home in the South...

" I’ll start with the room:  No cushions on the chairs outside. It was a lovely day, but there weren’t any comfortable chairs to sit on outside. No blankets or extra pillows. No floor lamps (I couldn’t see to read in the bedroom while sitting in the tiny chairs by the window). One piece of tissue left in the dispenser.  No washcloths. Hair conditioner in the shower but not the bathtub. No toiletries to speak of (just some unsanitary cotton pads and Q-tips in a jar) and a small bottle of...
