"The address IS NOT CORRECT. This property is not 20 mins from Chiang Mai airport as it says. It is over an hour outside Chiang Mai. We lost many hours of our day due to this. Finding a driver to transport us such a long way was very difficult. After we arrived, We gave them a security deposit and when I messaged the manager on WhatsApp about how we could get our deposit back, I have gotten no response back. The place itself is very pretty. Communication with staff was extremely difficult. Still...

"This property is a tucked away hidden gem. The rooms are lovely and spacious and everyone is so friendly and helpful. Nyein was a particular gem and was so helpful and kind. When we had an issue with our room, Nyein helped us changed the room with ease and it was effortless. The location is great with loads of amenities nearby. We’ll definitely be visiting the Mango Tree Resort again! "

What could be improved is the maintenance; from the private pool of the villa, the first thing I saw was a wall with worn-out paint. Another thing I didn't like was that a container for bath salts broke. Despite explaining that it broke due to a poor design of the installation, they charged me for the container. It wasn't much, but I didn't like it."
