Property was well maintained with most amenities that you could want for self catering. The room was spacious and clean throughout in a traditional Tuscan style. It would have perhaps been nice to have had a small station of tea and coffee provided in the room but there is a shop about 10 minutes away. The staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating.

Unpleasant surprise

I will lead off this review by explaining that my stay was a sour one due to the lack of the hotel adhering to the agreement that I made with Hotels.com. They initially tried to charge us extra for a couple of things significantly higher than the quoted price, including additional person and cleaning charges, even though we were clear with number in our party from the outset. To make a long story short, they recognized the error with wanting to charge me for extra people, but they insisted on me paying for the cleaning. I would have cancelled in the beginning, but there would have been a 30% charge. Not a bad place but very disappointing surprise.

Prachtige ligging

Prachtig landhuis met 9 appartementen gelegen tussen de wijngaarden. Veilige afgesloten parking. Mooi zwembad. Centraal gelegen voor bezoek aan Firenze, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra en tal van andere stadjes. Toch 2 minpuntjes: zwakke WiFi in het appartement en piepend bed met te zachte matras

I liked the management team, and the room was very nice. As most of the guests there were at this time were either English or German. It should be noted that the satelite TV was only Italian, with a few channels that showed some limited stuff in English. Those channels should be described and listed in the Info at the apartment. for english offerings and perhaps German too, if avail. Plus there was no shampoo in the bathroom. as well, a note about the booking, I noiced the location on the map was looking like it was based in the nearest town Certalda, and it was actually about 6 KMs out of town on a minor road. I had been loooking to stay closer to a town, but it was very nice place nonetheless. and the countryside was very relaxing.

Graziose camere affacciate sulle colline. Stupendo

Immersa nelle colline davvero suggestiva. Bellissima la limonaia dove ci si può rilassare con vista mozzafiato
