I took a chance and booked us a location that was off the touristy spot where all the big hotels were - so glad I did - VUE is a hidden gem. "The best thing about the hotel for me was the location. I had business at Tsinghua University, so it was very convenient to walk just a few hundred meters from the hotel to the campus.
The service has improved in many ways compared to previous reviews. Many of the front desk staff were able to communicate in English, and those who could not speak English well tried to communicate using a translation app on their smartphones.
