"I felt this hotel was very overpriced for what it offered. When I booked the room, the pictures appeared to show a hot tub in the pool area but when I asked about it upon arrival, the guy said there is no hot tub and it was just a kitty pool. Very disappointing but I guess I should have read the details better instead of assuming from a picture. The staff was very accommodating when he found out we had an accessible person with us, and switched our room to a main level with no issues.
Once we got in the room, we were overall happy with how clean it was and The beds were super comfortable.
When we looked a little closer, we noticed some things that were a bit of a turn off, there was a dark brown goo stuck on the side of the tub. It looked like something they could have scraped off, but just never bothered to and it just built up gunky over time. The shower wasn’t the best either, the pressure was really low."
"The property is amazing and the staff are exceptional. The cabins are beautiful and well maintained. They offer a shuttle service from the main building to your cabin, very convenient. The Pub atmosphere and food were excellent. If you stay here you must do the tour, and sample their products. Overall a great place to stay, play and relax"
"We arrived late at night, and the staff kindly waited for us and helped us with the check-in process. We really appreciated their patience and hospitality.
The room was very clean, and the view was absolutely beautiful. The small kitchen in the room was a great addition and made our stay much more convenient. Waking up in the morning and walking along the lakeside trail was such a wonderful experience.
We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely come back again."
"We had the pleasure of spending 2 nights at the Fiddle and Sea bnb. The place was cozy and the breakfast was delicious, with fresh bread and homemade spreads. The owners were also very friendly and helpful when it came to things to do in the area and around Cape Breton!"
