"This is the worst hotel experience I’ve had. The room was filthy, dusty, black mould growing in the shower. The wifi did not work, there was intermittent problems with hot water, the staff were dismissive and defensive when any issues were raised. The pool water was dirty and greenish. Communication was poor, the lifts broke down and no one would answer the phone and there were no instructions about how to exit the hotel. I thought that the mantra brand was reliable but it was evident that it is no longer the case. We had conversations with other guests who also commented on the poor standard of this hotel. You would be better off staying in a hostel and saving some money. I’ve since seen the general manager commenting back on poor reviews over several years. Clearly they have no interest in feedback or raising the standard of this property. Do not stay here u less you want to pay a premium to be deceived."
