"Hotel was okay, area was a little sketch. Beds were tiny! Was asked if we wanted one bed or two, stated one, got put in a 2 bed that had the smallest beds! Fridge had a dent in it from a fist, so that was nice lol. Front desk clerk was super nice and helpful!"

"Front desk member was pleasant and greeted me with a smile. Housekeeping staff did an amazing job when requesting a later clean time for my room when staying multiple nights. A very nice variety of breakfast items to choose from (eggs, meat, biscuits, gravy, cereal, muffins/bread, pancakes, waffles, yogurt, milk, juice, and coffee/tea). Hotel is convenient walking distance to grocery/liquor store and great sushi/ramen restaurant."
"One ok thing I could say is that they had a room available on a Friday night short notice, but we quickly found out why. After a quick analysis of the room, we discovered blood drops/splatter and hair(not ours), on the sheets and pillow cases on one of the beds! Immediately I went to ask for clean bedding and/or a different room. They accommodated us after about 25 minutes of talking to a mystery person on the phone. The second room seemed ok after a much better and closer look at the beds and elsewhere. There was some kind of food splatter on the back of the bathroom door, but wasn't much and we needed sleep! The beds looked much better. The front desk person was barely able to understand English seemingly and seemed to not believe that I'd found blood in the bed. AVOID this place unless desperate."
"Outside the hotel needs some cement work done on porch supports. The room I had was clean and nice. The floor on the second floor was soft in front of the elevator; Breakfast is not included, just coffee. The hotel was nice, but in need of repairs by the owner. The staff was very friendly and helpful."
"The site is very worn. Definitely needs revamping. Not terribly clean: carpets worn, upholstery worn. Paint needs touching up.
Pools not monitored or very clean. A group of young teenage boys were in the pool unsupervised and throwing a ball around hitting into our group with a young child,
Our relatives asked to move rooms when theirs smelled like dog pee and they found a tick on the wall."
"Beautiful lakefront property. Enjoyed our one night stay in the Mission Point section. Would request first floor next time in this section if traveling with young children or a senior as there is no elevator. Very nice updated unit overlooking the lake on the 2nd floor with a huge balcony. We enjoyed visiting the smaller beach in the Mission Point section and getting drinks from the indoor bar in the restaurant right next to the beach. We liked exploring all of the different sections and could easily spend several days enjoying all of the different onsite activities.
The Strawberry Ridge section pool could use some updating. The children's wadding pool had a strange color and the whole pool area could use some renovations. The other outdoor pool near the lobby is beautiful, but did not have a wading pool for our little one so we did not use this. Good food onsite. Typical prices for large resorts in northern Minnesota.
Very friendly staff. Looking forward to future stays!"
