"The hotel is going through renovations so the lobby area was a little disorganized with building materials around and also in the parking lot. Room was fantastic and has been upgraded and well designed. No carpet a very big +. All the staff were very pleasant and professional. I would most definitely stay there again and recommend to others."

"My credit card was charged despite prepaying. In reviewing the folio emailed to me after checkout, they charged taxes which were already paid and documented as such on my initial booking receipt. There were no incidentals charged to the room, just a billing error on their part. When I contacted the property to resolve the overpayment/double charge, I was told they had a new system and the issue would need to be escalated to the manager. "This is an old hotel and needs updating. Communication needs a lot of improvement. I booked this hotel on expedia. The did not mention that the room I booked was not in the hotel building but instead was a motel room. I would not have booked it if I had known. When I asked for a room inside, they said they were full. In addition, the room had an odor. It seemed like cigarette smoke but might have been something else. "The 1st room that we were given the door security latch was broken and the TV didn't work. They moved us to a different room. The 2nd room wasn't any better. The table lamp by the bed didn't work, bad outlet. The shower curtain was almost falling off the walls.Then the worst thing was that the deadbolt wouldn't even engage into the lock! Then to top it off we were greeted with police in the hallway. People in the room across the hall thought there was a camera in the bathroom mirror!"

"The ac was strong. But being next to a busy road with door and windows leaking light that at no point left the room what i would consider dark. The front desk was helpful for replacing the towels and such, however the apparent lack of and noise isoation is a negative. Every step or thought of out upstairs neighbors sounded like a horde of wild animals(assuming they weren't just rowdy) and the beds weird thin metal frame thing made my movements echo as the metal flexed."

"The location was convenient. The parking lot has huge pot holes. Our king suite was filthy. The sheets were covered in black debris, the bathroom found multiple hairs. The vent above the toilet dripped rusty water onto the toilet seat and floor that looked like urine. The shower had no water pressure and took a long time to warm up. The pillows were terrible. Too expensive for what it was. Disappointing."

"There were only two luggage carts and neither was available when we were leaving. I don’t know why so many hotels have this problem. Are carts that expensive? I travel a great deal and it’s the first thing that I look for because I have two heavy suitcases and a cart makes a big difference"
