A Perfectly Located Real Gem in Constantia

This is a really great upmarket guest house where the staff are incredibly friendly, the rooms really great and the breakfasts superb. We will definitely be back!

Wow

I don't know how better to describe my experience, but WOW. The suite was exquisite, the reception friendly and professional, the grounds beautiful, it is just awesome. I unfortunately stayed only one night, but this is a place that I will have to experience again. I loved staying, wish it was for longer.

It was a lovely property. The only issue we had was finding it. The address is given as Constantia, but Willow Road doesn't show up on Google maps. The correct "Sat Nav" address is Airlee.

This property is a oasis of calm. We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff are friendly. The owners come and welcome you too. The Villa was lovely, decorated in Colonial style. The only hiccup was that Expedia had given us the wrong address. It took us to a Township so we knew it was wrong.

Vorab: Wir sind eine dreiköpfige Familie mit einer 6 Monate alten Tochter. Für unsere letzten 4 Tage in Südafrika (insg. 3,5 Wochen) wollten wir uns nochmals ein schönes Hotel buchen. Während unserer ganzen Zeit in SA waren wir in sehr hochwertigen Hotels/Guesthouses untergebracht (u.a. Pezula) und hatten somit einen Eindruck für gute Hotels gewinnen können. Der Preis war selbst für die Hauptsaison sehr hoch aber wir wollten ja ein schönes Hotel, daher hatten wir uns aufgrund der Bilder

A pretty oasis

Set in pretty, idyllic gardens with stunning date palms. We had a lovely 5 night stay with our 2 tween-age kids who loved the pool and the resident lab. Great breakfasts. Pricey but worth it.

First Class-Property, Staff & Location

My wife and I are ex-pat South Africans and travelled recently to Cape Town for a family celebration. We searched all the B&B's in Cape Town/Constantia area and extremely pleased with our selection of Villa Coloniale. Next time we are in Cape Town we will stay there again. This B&B is owned and run by a lovely Austrian family and understand exactly how to treat international guests with first class treatment. Features: - The rooms are separate from the main building so for a B&B it is very private. Rooms are large and have separate TV/sitting area. Heating Air conditioning high efficient electronic systems so very comfortable at all times. - Property is very secure with high electric/safety fence and guests are given electronic gate opener for easy driving in/out. Rooms have safes for valuables. - Location is less than 3km/2miles from Constantia Village shopping centre & Virgin Gym (Constantia Cricket ground); 5 minutes to highway for easy access to City centre or for easy exploring to Kalk Bay, Fish Hoek, Simonstown, Cape Point etc. - Breakfast is excellent - combination of European buffet and/or any custom order of breakfast for guests ... including Espresso and other coffees as desired. Staff all dressed in uniform and breakfast in main building in beautiful room. - Monika (Owner) greeted us everyday and was very pleasant and friendly everyday. The business office has guide books/maps etc. - Heated Pool, Sauna all extras not expected. Great place to unwind in SA.
