"A present surprise in a quite residential area but just a short walk into the small beautiful old town. We enjoyed a beer at a bar in the town square before walking back to the Hotel for Dinner. Charming restaurant with very nice food and a super helpful waiter who spoke excellent English and made us very welcome. Breakfast was simple but adequate. "This is a special kind of Bed and Breakfast, it's the one kind that stays in your heart. It's located in the old fortress remains and have a special kind of atmosphere. "First impressions on arrival of the outside weren’t good. The hotel was not what we were expecting for the price. A clearer description of location would have been helpful. It’s in a built up business area. However after entering the reception area, we could see the courtyard which was well kept. Also luckily the restaurant is very good. Simple, well cooked French food, at a reasonable price. The room was small (as stated in description,) and basic, bathroom could do with an update. "
