Katya (sp?) owner of the Towne Motel greeted us and was very friendly and helpful leaning about the motel and the town of Camden. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our brief stay (1 night)) at the Towne Motel.

Lovely place

The rooms were clean, the breakfast was delicious, the hosts were courteous, thoughtful, and kind. The motel is about an eight minute walk to a small park with a cute Pebbly Beach, and the motel is just a short walk into town. The rooms I stayed in had a small refrigerator, coffee makings, and a hair dryer. I very much enjoyed staying there and would like to stay there again.

This is a renovated old fashioned motel but the rooms are fresh and bright and clean-very welcoming. The location is fabulous-walking distance to everything in town. Owners were excellent. The breakfast is continental but it is homemade with special treats and excellent. Loved my stay.

Convenient Camden Stay with great breakfast

Great for a one night stay in Camden on our way to Bar Harbor. Very close to the Camden State Park where you can go up to the top of Mount Battie. Short drive to a lot of the restaurants in the downtown area or there were a few within walking distance. We found an outstanding Mexican restaurant that was only a block away. I had fantastic food. Breakfast was prepared by the owners and served in their dining room where you got to mingle with the other guests. Homemade yogurt and baked goods were delicious.
