Beautiful setting located near all the tourist attractions but in a quiet residential setting. The inn is beautifully furnished and includes all the amenities you could ask for along with some delicious treats at night. Would highly recommend and will definitely return again for a stay.
Lovely property, decorated in the period in which the inn was built. Owners were super friendly and helpful to make our short stay memorable. We will definitely put it on a list to return
Laid back property; room was extremely comfortable; was a joy to sleep with the windows open; room was clean and well furnished; shower was awesome with multiple fixtures
A large 1864 house in very good shape and well kept up, so staying at Talbot House is like stepping into history. That said, its an adjunct to the hotel next door, and we did not see any hotel staff at all during a four-night stay (there was maid service that came while we were out). Nice common rooms and very quiet.
The room was not real large, but we had everything we needed. It was very quiet . The room and bathroom were very clean, well equipped, and the bed was comfortable with nice linens. I really appreciated the magnifying mirror in the bathroom.
I was a little disappointed with the continental breakfast. There was nothing to eat for anyone watching sugar intake. The cereals offered were geared more to children like Lucky Charms and Fruit Loops. Please consider offering one item that is not heavy in carbs and sugar. Very nice location, and I would highly recommend.

Disliked: Staff & service
Main complaint is about the Grabbed and gone breakfast items gone at 8:50am. The early risers must have been hungry as items were not replenished. The kureig was really small and outdated. Person in front of me emptied it filling a thermos. Could not find a container to refill, used coffee cup. No lids for the grab and go coffee.just not up to expectations of frequented B&B. Would not book again. Overall a one night stay. Booked at the last minute and was not familiar.
Facility is very nice but would have preferred breakfast in our house instead of having to go next door. Food was very unimaginable with no sides or garnish. Just two eggs Benedict or French toast casserole with one piece of bacon. Really? Service was very good in the dining room.
The talbot house is a beautiful B&B linked to the manor next door. Very comfortable and very friendly staff. Breakfast maly be at the house or the manor next door. We had a great breakfast! All and all a great place to stay. Free pie slices anytime you want them!
serious fun for art history lovers, staying in a house that has been featured in an Edward Hopper painting. House has nice porch to seat on, quiet rooms, delicious pie that's set out at tea time, good system of locking doors, great walking neighborhood - overall, fine place to stay.
