On m'a réservé cet hôtel pour un déplacement pro. Chambre assez petite, mais confortable. Par contre, douche très petite (je suis plutôt fin, et c'était déjà serré pour moi) et pommeau de douche à changer (cassé, et plastique jaunie par le temps...)

La Chope Cambrai

Our room for a double was very small. Also we had dog with us, so a bit cramped. No restaurant in evening due to staffing issues. Parking on street easy and can walk into town centre, about 15 minutes. Easy to find as on main road but no noise issues at night as we were at back of hotel. garden space/patio at back.

The manager or owner had a terrible attitude, he was very unfriendly. The rooms were very dated and are in need of complete refurbishment.

fuir si vous voulez dormir

Absolument impossible de dormir. Les murs sont hyper fins, on entend les voisins jusque tard dans la nuit puis à 4h30 du matin, on est réveillé par les premiers camions et voitures qui passent à quelques mètres de là. Les fenêtres étant hors d'age, elles n'isolent absolument pas du bruit. Pour le reste le restaurant est bon.

Great Hotel

Loved our stay at Hotel La Chope, everyone was friendly, meals were good got by with our very little french, sign language and the hostesses English. Would recommend anyone wanting a family feel hotel thank you for making our stay in Cambrai memorable.

Greit rom og gode senger. Veldig lite bad og ikke tilgjengelig restaurant. Vi valgte hotellet fordi det hadde egen parkering og restaurant, men ingen av delene var tilgjengelig når vi kom.

So convenient.

The only downside to the stay at La Chope was the lack of a lift. A very small issue. Secure parking offered at no extra charge. Just over the river to the centre so a 5 minute walk. An interesting town to visit. We did not use the restaurant at the hotel but it was well used by what looked like locals so must be good. Excellent WiFi reception

L'hôtel est très agréable et la cuisine est excellente. Il ce trouve à côté du port de plaisance est pas très loin du centre ville.

The only good thing was the dinner!

The positive things during our 1-night stay was the dinner and easy to park the car. The room very small and out of date as well as the bathroom and the shower cabin so small that if you are a medium size person you will not fit! Wall to wall carpet is so unsanitary! Breakfast 8 euros for sugared cereals, sweetened yoghurt and croissant and marmalade. We had dinner at the restaurant and this was surprisingly good!

just one downside...

Lovely food, lovely staff, comfortable bed - shame about the smelly bathroom. Stagnant water smell constantly present, just how I remember French bathrooms were about 30 years ago. Shame, because otherwise it would be a more than OK place. Room a bit on the small side, no English TV but we shouldn't expect in France. Didn't complain because not there long.

Lovely family run hotel

Stayed one night for a wedding in this family run hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially when I needed a plug adapter for my straightners! Interior is very tasteful, a shame the restaurant wasn't open as it looked lovely. Thank you La Chope!

hotel restaurant la chope

tres bien situé , proche du centre ville, calme petit déjeuner copieux et abordable 7 euros servi dans un lieu décoré avec soin , au goût du jour. La chambre est spacieuse, avec une télé écran plat. hotel dispose du wifi. Nous y retournerons.
