"In general the stay was good value for money. However the hotel would do well to improve if it could provide more than one tv channel available in the main entertainment room. We and many other guests were watching an important football match and it was half way through when the channel was switched over by the entertainments manager who said that another guest had asked him to do it earlier. Despite protests from the vast majority of watchers it was switched over to suit the request of one person. It was unfair to the majority.
We left the building to watch at another hotel.

"This hotel was a strange mix of party goers and older generations. Having attended on a stag do I would not recommend this hotel to families, although it wasn't a rowdy party hotel it does not have a family atmosphere.
I'm reviewing the hotel at its price point, the rooms have everything you need including air conditioning but are dated in appearance and the breakfast has a large variety of options but was low quality. For the amount I paid this was perfectly reasonable."
"The breakfast was lovely as were the staff...the room was cleaned daily and although spotless I expected it to be more modern.
I stayed in the privilege room and the shower although clean was a bit grubby and had a damp smell which lingered in the room."
"DO NOT stay here unless you want a dose of food poisoning!!!!
This is no way a 4 star hotel. Three of us on the first day went down for dinner
in the hotel restaurant. We ate at 9pm and by 9.30 pm we were all vomiting.
Seems a coincidence!! By 1am we were so ill we had to get a doctor to come out and give injections to stop the vomiting and diarrhea. Spent the next day in bed and it came to our attention that lots of people in the hotel were ill.
When we spoke to reception they denied any issue and told us it was stomach flu!!
We never ate in the hotel again and had to spend extra eating out.
Staff also in the hotel were very rude - as if trained to be so!!! Everything a bother to them and a big attitude. Lifts so slow and one broken for a few days. The list could go on and on and on.
This placed should be inspected by health and safety. Terrible."
"Receptionist was really helpful and friendly. He knew my name every time i walked passed and made a point of saying Hello.
Not sure of his name but 10/10 for customer service."
