Frukostbuffén var ganska så dålig, däremot när vi fick frukostbricka 2 dagar var den mycket bättre, luktade mögel på rummet, badrummet skulle behövas renoveras, alldeles för dyrt för den standard som var, ingen papperskorg på badrummet

Kanonbra läge, bara 1km till hamnen med mysiga Restauranger och båtar. Kanonbra service av Peter och Sofie som äger Kvarngården, vi känner oss alltid Välkomna, vi kommer tillbaka.

Äldre men fräscht boende nära Byxelkroks hamn

Vi ville stanna i Byxelkrok nära hamnen för att vandra runt mellan sjöbodar, fika och äta på kvällen utan att behöva stressa. Detta boende ligger på ca 1 km avstånd från hamnen och det går bra att gå. Priset för standarden och värdskapet innan högsäsong var för högt, ett annat boende närmre vattnet var billigare. Bemötandet och värdskapet från ägaren var lite bristfällig, man kände sig inte direkt välkommen och sommarpersonalen verkade inte speciellt hjälpsam när ägaren inte var på plats och vi inte kunde checka in. Synd. Hela stället är lite som om det hade stannat av i tiden på 80-90 talet men ändå fräscht! Det verkade som om det var målning och ompyssling på gång. Frukostpersonalen var omtänksam och trevlig.

Mysigt och lugnt

Perfekt boende om du önskar lugn och ro. Vi kom dit med buss, och den stannar i stort sett utanför boendet. Vi bodde där två nätter och hyrde cyklar nere i hamnen i Byxelkrok. Trivdes mycket bra!

Trevlig personal men inte prisvärt

Personalen var trevlig och hjälpsam och vi var de enda gästerna. Hotellområdet upplevdes som rörigt och inte alls iordningställt. Rummet var rent och frukosten som serverades på en bricka på rummet var helt ok men det fanns ingenstans att äta den, utom sittande på sängen. Med tanke på priset (det var ett av de dyraste på hela Öland) hade vi höga förväntningar som inte uppfylldes; det var inte prisvärt. Rummen som var inrättade i småhus var mycket små och det fanns inga gemensamhetsutrymmen, standarden mycket lägre än på hotell som vanligtvis ligger i den prisklassen.

Familienzimmer verzweifelt gesucht

Die Zimmer die wir gebucht und bezahlt hatten waren nicht die, die uns als Unterkunft angeboten wurden. Keine Übereinstimmung mit der Hotelbeschreibung. Das Personal hat sich für dieses Problem nicht interessiert.

Väldigt dåligt!!

Hade bokat rum redan i Mars för att vara säker på att ha boende. Men när vi kommer dit och ska checka in efter över 60 mils bilåkande så får vi höra att "det uppstått lite problem" så det finns inget rum åt oss. Den enda förklaringen vi får är att det skulle ha skickats ett mail på söndag förmiddag, (vi skulle checka in på måndagen) där det skulle ha stått att vi inte kunde bo där. Med så kort varsel ringer man väl upp den som bokat och inte bara skickar ett mail!! Ännu konstigare är att sambon dessutom pratade i telefon med ägaren på söndag eftermiddag och då sas det då ingenting om att det skulle vara något problem. Väldigt konstigt... Så nej jag kommer aldrig mer att boka något boende där och kommer absolut inte rekommendera någon annan att göra det heller!! Oseriöst ställe...
