There is beach access within walking distance with many beach activities available including boating and jet skiing. The beds in the rooms are VERY comfortable!!! "Very special place in the grounds of an interesting Chinese Temple which can get rather busy. It is on a beach mainly used by locals with small fishing boats but great for swimming at the far end. There are many eateries and a Tesco nearby. Comfortable, clean and friendly. The more than adequate set breakfast of fried eggs, sausages, slices of meat, baked beans and toast was served in the small dining area enabling conversation with other guests. "We stayed for 4 days enjoying the kind and thoughtful hospitality provided by Brendan Hamid and Hamada. The recently restored bungalow was fully equipped, very comfortable and had lovely touches like a library of recent books on Penang history its buildings and gardens, flora and fauna. We stayed in a large room on the ground floor which was spotless. The views from the balcony of Georgetown and Butterworth were wonderful.
