Hotel was under construction and we realized that when we were on our way there, so we went into the night stay with adjusted expectations, but even those weren’t met. We were in a “renovated” room, paint was everywhere, on the door, the door stopper, the fire alarm. There was hair on the toilet seat and in the toilet when we got there, there was a dirty towel still hanging in the shower, there was painters tape still on the sink in the bathroom. I get that they’re under construction, but don’t put paying customers in a room that isn’t ready to go. To top it off, there was the following note at the front desk when we arrived, sitting in front of a phone on the desk “How to use this device: 1. Pick up the receiver 2. Place receiver to your ear 3. Dial 0 and wait for an employee to answer 4. When employee answers speak into the receiver that you are holding up to your ear and explain what you need assistance with 5. When you are done hang the receiver up.” I’m not a child, I am a paying customer, treat me with an ounce of respect and not condescension.
