My solo trip to Brunei

I was happy with my stay here - clean bathroom, spacious bedroom, friendly staff. The hotel is within walking distance to the Royal Regalia Museum, the Saifuddien mosque & the Yayasan shopping mall. The hotel arranged for a private tour for me for a reasonable price which included the city tour & tour of Kampong Ayer & the mangove forest. There is also a complimentary shuttle to the Gadong Night Market. I would stay here again.

Strategic location and helpful staff

O had a great experience at the Brunei Hotel, staff welcomed promptly, assured me in every question and dropped and picked me around town to sightseeing the historic center, I cannot thank enough, also location is amazing to walk around everything is strategic, thanks for all the help

Old Charm in New Form

The Brunei is unpretentious. yet provides excellent service not inferior to 5* hotels. Visiting the Sultanate during Ramadan was interesting and challenging and the Brunei managed to accommodate foreign tourists with great service and sensitivity. We are totally satisfied with our stay at The Brunei.

Very clean. Staff was excellent. Breakfast was good. Room was comfy but a bit small. Shuttle service was really nice to have. Location of hotel is great - super close to water village and many other attractions. Only complaint is that it took at least 20 minutes to get hot water in the shower even though we were only on the second floor. Overall a very good stay and I would recommend this hotel.

Everything is good here. Convenient location that msny tourist hotspots and shopping malls are in walkable distance. The bus terminal is just outside the hotel that you can easily travel around the city although there is nearly no proper public transport system in the country. The only defect if really need to find one is that the breakfast choice is relatively limited.

RAZAK SITI KHADIJAH

Only plus point it’s location is centralised. Service provided was “so so”, would have stayed at the first hotel when I was in Brunei - Radisson ! Hotel charged guest $25 per person to airport ! Took Dart ( Uber version ) & it’s only @$12 !!!! For breakfast , Ordered beverage at the counter as the coffee was not nice! And was charged , was only informed after we drank ! So end up need to pay @$10 !! But I reasons out / negotiate with hotel staff that the last day we will check out early thus unable to have breakfast at the hotel eventhough payment so why not waive the $10!!! But NO !! They didn’t! It’s not abt the payment it’s the small thing hotel can provide / give to guest so that we feel welcome , appreciated ! I have stayed in Swiss , Hamburg & Frankfurt hotel with no problem . Service was tip top and they went an extra mile for guest ! Anyway another observation,we witness a maintenance was being carried out but the door was open wide!!! to a corridor that outsiders can enter & can go straight up to guest rooms ! OMG !!! that’s it ….not returning to this hotel!!

Lovely new-looking room with great amenities, shower was hot with strong water pressure. The hotel is on a quiet side street and I hardly heard any other guests. The staff were very welcoming and a small issue I had with the iron in my room was resolved within minutes. My only tiny ask would be that they provide a room service menu in the room!

Ok Hotel.

Think that hotel is overpriced. Water pressure is low and toilet is smelly and musty. AC is not really working. Breakfast was alright. Front desk service is non existent.

This hotel is really nice. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I visited during Ramadan and they still managed to accommodate me eating meals during daylight hours. The room was very quiet and comfortable.

Overpriced, in the center of the city, felt safe and staff were all kind. However, staff knew nothing about anything. I got blank faces repeatedly about suggestions where to go, what to eat etc. Food at restaurant was overpriced.
