The hotel has a convenient free airport shuttle and is in walking distance of the main sights and waterfront in the city so it’s a real win for a short stay… just request a room at the back of the hotel as the front is on a busy road so can be quite noisy.

Pick up service from the airport was excellent. The staff was super friendly and helpful with everything. Spacious room, good ac, good shower. The room and the whole hotel could use a little brush-up though. Breakfast was ok to start the day with. Surroundings slightly awkward but safe, and with many dining options and a super market. Short, a bit shady walk to the city center (not lit/proper walk way all the time), safe though.

I spent 3 nights here. Overall, it's a nice hotel. The staff is incredibly friendly and efficient! The breakfast varied each day and was consistently excellent!! After a lot of walking, it was great to relax by the pool!! One thing to keep in mind is that it's a bit of a walk to and from downtown. However, the 42 or 45 buses stop right at the hotel, making it quite convenient!

I really enjoyed the ease of access and the security services for the rooms. The restaurant downstairs was easy and convenient if a quick meal was required without any travel. Staff are quick to address issues and pleasant to work with.

Big rooms with super friendly staff. Good restaurants in hotel but not much else around except a grocery store and breakfast food is luke warm at best. Using taxi and arranging tours is the way to go. Hotel includes airport pick-up and drop-off which is very helpful. Would stay here again.

Great location, friendly staff

Staff friendly and helpful. Even though we had some miscommunications these were rectified fairly. Great location as you can walk to most places although it is hot. Best to hire your own car if you are here or ensure you have the dart app. Lots of places to go and eat in centre which I’d recommend. Pool was closed!

Great hotel

Great service oriented hotel. 10 minute walk away from the city center. The walk was very magical; a HUGE lizard and gang of apes walked past me and then i found myself on 1001 Nights story book scenery. Bandar Seriwan is one of The most unique cities ive seen. If Brunei wants to make Brunei More tourist friendly The airport needs ATM that actually works, The E-travel card info should be More clearly in The internet (Wikitravel etc..) and The airport needs a bus timetable.

Very nice stay

We stayed here in 2022 and this is the second time, each time for 11 nights. We really like the location as there are many restaurants, supermarket, money changer etc... just behind the hotel. Weekend market is held in the field between the Emporium Supermarket and The One Mall. Every evening we walked to Kampong Ayer Water-village and to Yayasan and the park next to the grand mosque (walkable distance). To go to further places, we use Dart Application to hire a taxi. The hotel also provided us shuttle van to and fro the airport for free. If we have to come again to Brunei, we will certainly stay at Badiah Hotel.

Most important thing for was the interaction with the staff which I found to be fantastic. I also got free transportation to the airport on my departure. The only issue I had was the inability to get a power adapter for my Australian V shaped phone and the laptop charger to work. They could not help me get one from their service desk. I had to walk into many shops to look for one and I found one with help from many people. I left my adapter in the reception area telling them they could give it to the next overseas visitor.
