Great hotel

Excellent value for money in a lovely setting, the half board buffet was good quality. All staff were friendly. I stayed after getting off a cruise and was allowed access to my room at 10am, this was really appreciated. Would definitely return to the hotel. It is beside a beautiful beach and lovely coastal walk.

H10 is a large hotel about 5 min drive from the airport. On arrival the receptionist dealt with my booking whilst also talking on the phone to someone else (not very professional). My room was on the ground floor and could hear music from the bar area. Dinner and breakfast was average. Limited choice and the hot dishes were only warm. I was on half-board and surprised that no drinks were included for dinner.. not even water!

The view of the airport was unique and fascinating, watching the planes come and go without being disrupted was a daily entertainment! The view from our room 419 was superb, sun, ocean and pool view. On avery clear day, you can see Tenerife and La Gomera. The convenience of access to transportation, Santa Cruz and many excursions. All so close. We strongly recommend a car to access this beautiful but very mountainous island. There is no driving in a straight flat line! We found the food varied and generous but you had to make it early enough at meal times to get best selection. On the other hand, the dining room’s acoustics or lack there of made eating or dining a less than romantic experience… say, cafeteria with wine and noise from constant table clearing, supply carts on ceramic….hum…. the food was tasty though and well worth the aggravation. Staff smiling and efficient and we will miss this great deal for a pleasant affordable holiday on La Palma

Don’t get carried caught with flies on you

Excellent hotel resort. Lots to do. Mostly included in the price. However, you have to pay extra for spa pool , tennis and more well known drinks. By the pool we were sometimes pestered by flies. Don’t let them stay on you as they bite!!

Overall good hotel

Pleasant staff. Good location very near airport- used public bus. Shops nearby. Handy for local buses to access different areas for walking routes. Spacious, clean and comfortable room. Nice hot shower. Varied meal options with buffet style dining. Only criticism is food not always very hot. Experienced this before on continent.

Very unclear on what was paid for and what wasn’t. Pool towels you needed a separate card. Drinks were not covered? I was charged for water two nights at dinner. It was not clear and no one was helpful in answering questions.
