This was The Bow River in Canmore, Alberta, taken around 7:40 pm one evening. Last October when we were here, part of where the dead logs are were almost dry, one could walk around them. The river and lake levels were rmuch higher this time from spring run-offs and so much rain. It was a mixed bag of sun, clouds and rain all day. Love how the sun is shining on the side of the mountain in the background. Sunset was at 9:55 pm. (July 2019)

My partner and I are lucky enough to work a shift patern of 10 on, 5 off. On our 5 off we do all we can to go on an #adventure. On this set of days off we did 4 incredible hikes in and around Banff, Jasper and Yoho National Parks.
We are so lucky to be in our position and know it won't last forever. But our need for #adventure will never leave.
