"This was our first visit to Bournemouth, we were there to assist our granddaughter in her move to university and with the Chine Hotel we picked a gem of an Hotel. Arriving ahead of our check in time, we received a friendly welcome from the young lady on duty at the front desk and she informed us of all the on-site parking facilities available, so a great start. "We’ve stayed here numerous times, it’s our go to place to stay in Bournemouth. Value for money. The rooms are basic but clean and with free parking. It’s a leisurely 20 minute stroll to the main shopping centre/beach/gardens. We finally got to use the pool on this visit! Was lovely to check out but still use the pool before we actually left. Thank you! "

"Great hotel. Have been coming for years for an annual birthday night out with a group of friends. Guy at reception was very friendly, especially as we were concerned we may not be able to park there as no space, but did manage to in the end. Hotel is great...not the most modern, no, but homely and rooms have always been spacious, clean and welcoming. The bar/club is great for a night out. Would definitely recommend. Very close to town centre and beach too. Well done Royal Exeter!"

"Its a good place for a days trip. We went to Bournemouth for a day to visit the beach, we mainly used the hotel to wash and relax after a whole day at bea h. The toilets were not very clean, the room is very basic but sleeps 4 very nicer as we took the family rooms and it had 2 seperate single beds. Breakfast was also very basic no vegan or had limited vegetarian options -wasnt worth the money "
