"We've been coming to La Casa Del Zorro every single year for the past two decades. We love the grounds, the amenities and the staff. We have been noticing the past five years or so that certain things are beginning to slip; for example, during this particular trip, all the pools we visited (The Lap Pool, the pool next to the room and the main pool next to the restaurant) were all unpleasantly cold. Freezing cold. Unusably cold. This is not OK. We understand that heating up the pools isn't cheap, but neither is the nightly rate. Another annoyance this time around was upstairs neighbors that seemed like they were training for a marathon above our heads for hours and hours (We believe they had a large dog they kept throwing a ball to inside the room... While this can happen anywhere the floors are thin, multiple calls to the front desk did nothing to resolve it. At any rate, when we return next year, we already made the decision that it will be time to give some of the other highly rated resorts in town a shot at our patronage. We already verified with a couple of them that at least one of their pools is heated year-round. "
"The air conditioning was effective. The hot tub was not warm enough. It was located by the swimming pool. The upstairs floors were squeaky and the bathtub needs to be replaced. The rest of the unit was fine. Convenient to those we were visiting. Plenty of kitchen dishes etc. Office employees excellent."
