Wonderful staff, beautiful hotel, fantastic location. Five minutes walk from train station. The only problem was that the air conditioner was difficult to maintain at a comfortable temperature for sleeping so we were hot at night. The staff tried to help and gave us a fan which did help some. The problem was that the temperature had to be controlled at the front desk with a computer. The night manager came to our room and tried multiple times to fix it on the computer but it didn’t work. We are used to a cool sleeping temperature at home do the nights were a bit difficult. However, everything else about the hotel is excellent so we would stay here again.

Elegante albergo che si affaccia proprio sulla piazza centrale di Bolzano, recentemente rinnovato, in una posizione comodissima, specialmente durante i mercatini di Natale. Camere sufficientemente grandi, pulite e curate, ben insonorizzate e calde (anche troppo…), forse il bagno può apparire un po’ piccolo, sacrificato. Colazione molto varia ed abbondante, con alcuni prodotti locali. A disposizione degli ospiti un SPA (a pagamento, 20€ a persona), previa prenotazione, a fasce orarie di 2h, anch’essa recentemente rinnovata, essenziale (bagno turco, sauna finlandese, area relax e piscina coperta) e moderna. Sotto la vicina piazza c’è un grande parcheggio convenzionato con l’hotel a 22€/giorno anzichè 25€.

Great location
We enjoyed the hotel very much. can't ask for better locations. The breakfast was wonderful. The staff at front desk as well as the restaurant were very helpful and friendly.

Great location. Staff helpful. Breakfast buffet was large and tasty. Would absolutely staff again if the opportunity arose.

Hvor er restaurantchefen og manageren blevet af?
Flot og velbeliggende hotel, men desværre ingen rengøring under 3 døgns ophold og kamp om kaffe/den rette kaffe til morgenmaden, mandag morgen lykkedes det endelig tjenerne at huske både bestilling og kunde. Der mangler i den grad planlægning, overblik og eksekveringsevne på dette skønne hotel, som vi har besøgt 2 gange tidligere med stor tilfredshed.

OK. 1. TOTALLY PISSED that the "piscine" was out of service. I come to this place specifically for this. Years ago, the spa had a steam room, two saunas, and a cold plunge, plus the whirlpool/piscine. There was a notice: piscine is out of service, we apologize for any inconvenience. This sounds like the American school shootings: "Thoughts and Prayers." BIG F---ING DEAL!!! TOTALLY STINKS! 2. There is a very large restaurant/bar complex. But the restroom facilities are totally inadequate. One toilet for men, one for women (inciting a VERY long line), one for disabled. Really. Happy to have had a room to go up to to relieve myself. 3. No bidet in the bathroom -- not even a hose like they have in Jerusalem. Granted, South Tyrol is not Italy. But south of the Brenner, they should have bathrooms with bidets. South Tyrol is not Arkansas. 4. The English menus need to be run by native speakers. "Rosmary" ??? "Mushed potatoes" ??? I have stayed here at least five times. Never again.

Great staff make a top hotel
This was our second stay at Stadt Hotel Citta and while the owners have changed and the decor, it's still a top hotel with great staff. Reception helped solve simcard problems with prompt advice. Nothing was too much trouble!

Great hotel! Amazing staff, great breakfast and awesome location. The pool/fitness/spa was fantastic too! Be sure to get parking instructions before you arrive. We would stay here again!
