The area was so nice and quiet, the bus stop is literally right outside the hotel and it takes you to the city centre, the staff are so lovely and the room we stayed in was so cute and had a balcony

We enjoyed our stay. Check-in was quick and easy, same with check out. The room was clean, breakfast was fine, and it’s a 10 minute walk from the train station. Great value, we would definitely stay there again.

Does what it says on the tin

Decent hotel a bit far from the beaten track in Bologna - a bit dated and a little noisy with people coming and goiing. A few decent restaurants close to the hotel, but mostly pizza places so if you are looking for more authentic experiences, you are not quite in the right place.

Hotel Astor was great - clean and modern! Our room had a large jacuzzi bathtub. It’s in more of a residential area and about a 12 min walk to the terminal. It was not close to the city centre but there is a bus that takes you right there, or about 30-40 min walk.

Good value for sightseeing

2 night stay for Bologna sightseeing. Nice clean and modern hotel. Staff friendly enough. About 15 min walk to centre/station but there are small bars and restaurants dotted around close the the hotel. Would strongly advise to reserve restaurant tables in advance as they get booked up quickly.

Property old. The description of the property said parking available but in fact very few spaces outside the hotel. The kind receptionist was able to advice where to go…..just a few minutes away! Chose hotel for the location as we where able to walk to the start of the half marathon. Not sure I would have liked to have stayed longer! Staff very friendly.

Ideal hotel for a visit to Bologna. It's around a 10 min walk from the central railway station, and around a 15-20 min walk to the historical centre of Bologna. it's situated in a residential area - so nice and quiet. The room was ideal for our 4 day stay - and the air conditioning was a godsend given how hot it was. The continental breakfast was great and the staff were really helpful. One minor complaint - would have liked the facilities to make a tea/coffee in the room. Would happilly stay here again.

Food hotel close

Everything in the hotel was good, the service very good and willing to help. especially the young man who welcomed us. There are things that can be improved, the pillows are very hard and the breakfast is good. For the record there are no facilities to wash clothes as it says on the hotel.com website. 20 min walking ti city center

Stayed for 2 nights with friends. Hotel room had everything we needed, safe, tv, nice bathroom with good shower. Beds were comfortable, aircon was efficient and silent which is unusual so we got a good nights sleep. Breakfast had a good choice and freshly made coffee to ordr, rather than a machine. Reception staff were friendly. Hotel was clean and our room was cleaned even though we were only there for 2 nights. 10 mins walk from station and an excellent recommendation from receptionist for locL restaurant. All in all very happy we chose Hotel Astor

Very abandoned place. I did not feel safe walking to hotel even it’s mid day. If you’re lady trying to stay, do not. Also a lady at the cafeteria is not friendly. If you’re on very low budget and have no other choice then stay. Bed is super hard with very thin sheet, bathroom stinks, can hear water running and footsteps upstairs.
