Not modern, but friendly & welcoming

The hotel is comfortable but not modern. The bed was comfortable and the room warm (once you put the radiator on). Bathroom was basic, but functional. Breakfast was also good, though not a wide range of things - that's not a criticism, as there was plenty to eat! The hosts were helpful and friendly. The location (half way between the town center and the universities, five mins walk from a U-bahn station) is excellent. I would happily recommend it and would stay there again.

The host is very friendly, there are water and fruit on the house, available 24/7. excellent german style breakfast that will be prepared on demand. The location is especially convenient, only 3-4 min walking from the underground station (3 stops from train station), in very quiet area. Recommend without reservation.

Gute Unterkunft, leider war ein Weinparty unter meinem Fenster bis Mitternacht. Beim Buchen empfehle ich darüber zu informieren. Auch wäre es bequem wenn der WLAN-Gebrauchername beim Einchecken mitgegeben würde. Früstück war auch prima.

We have stayed here several times over the years and always enjoyed a friendly welcome and a relaxed way of going on. We enjoy the typical German style of a family owned, host on site experience... and the breakfast is good! Excellent location too. Bochum town centre is only a few minutes away on the frequent tram which stops nearby. Would recommend Haus Vocke to anyone!

Zimmer mittelgroß, gut und sauber. TV mit USB-Anschlußmöglichkeit. Bad geräumig, alles gut angeordnet. Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Dusche hoch genug für große Menschen und mit Temperaturwahl (optimal). Gratis Parken für Gäste. U-Bahn-Station in der Nähe, zu Fuß sind es 20 bis 30 Minuten in die Innenstadt.

Sehr nette Inhaberin. Zimmer sauber und Ordentlich. Leide etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Was uns am wenigsten gefallen hat, das es keine vernünftigen Vorhänge oder Jalousien zum abdunkeln gab. Es war bereits morgends um 6.30 Uhr taghell im Zimmer und dadurch leider eine kurze Nacht. Auch die Bettwäsche war für die Sommertage viel zu dick. Die Matratzen sind auch schon sehr durchgelegen. Alles in allem war es aber für zwei Tage ok da wir die meiste Zeit eh unterwegs waren.

Lovely little hotel, run by a lovely lady

Lovely little hotel, run by a lovely lady, my German isn't the best and her English similar, but we got there, nice room, great breakfast. Location is a little out of Bochum (3 stops on the tram), would consider again if I was in the area.

Hotel Haus Vocke - Fantastisk jordnært sted

Nærværende og Personlig Service: Personalet på Hotel Haus Vocke er utroligt imødekommende og nærværende. De tager sig virkelig tid til at lytte til gæsternes behov og ønsker. Jeg følte mig virkelig velkommen og værdsat under mit ophold. Ekstrem Servicemindedhed: Et eksempel på deres fantastiske service er, da vi den første morgen, selv finder brød frem, til en med glutenallergi. Personalet spurgte ind til det, og vi fortalte at hun havde allergi. Dagen efter havde de sørget for der var glutenfri brød. Det viser virkelig deres dedikation til at imødekomme individuelle behov. Værelserne: Værelserne på Hotel Haus Vocke er komfortable og velindrettede. Jeg var positivt overrasket over standarden i forhold til prisen. Det er virkelig god valuta for pengene. Beliggenhed: Hotellet ligger kun 4 minutters gang fra U35, som tager dig direkte ind til byens centrum på kun 5 minutter. Det er virkelig praktisk og gør det nemt at udforske Bochum. Samlet set kan jeg varmt anbefale Hotel Haus Vocke til alle rejsende. Deres personlige service, opmærksomhed på detaljer og gode beliggenhed gør det til et ideelt valg. Hvis du besøger Bochum, skal du helt sikkert overveje at bo på Hotel Haus Vocke!
