We arrived late after reception hours, I received a text with all the prompts to collect our room key. Lots of parking spaces, and very close to the Echo Point lookout and walking trails. "Not needing to check in, i.e. just go to room was convenient. Our motel room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower head was loose. Actually, it fell off, but that could easily be fixed. When we went to return our key in the morning the office lady was friendly and helpful. We would stay at this motel again."

"Booked the motel when the UTA trail run was still happening and it was literally the only room in/near Katoomba available. Decided to still spend the weekend after the event was cancelled. The Motel is pretty dire. Ultimately you get what you pay for at $85 a night. It’s situated right between the train line and highway so is super noisy. No staff on site so check in is automated - which is fine except it reeks of a place that can be rented by the hour. And it also actually reeks...damp smell,...

"The property is stunning and very quiet Just a short walk to the Wentworth falls walking tracks. Some of the rooms look into a valley and the bird life is amazing The property has kettle, toaster, fridge, stove and microwave. The lounges are quite small but the beds are super comfy. Will definitely be back when in the mountains "

"The location is pretty good close to everything next to it is Korean BBQ, nice place to have a dinner. Close to Leura Town just a few steps away, love it. Room size is good bit carpet has stains and smells, needs to change new carpet or good steam cleans. Bed mattress is not comfortable it’s so soft… "

"Staying at Madison’s Mountain Retreat was the perfect getaway and experience for my family. We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed the atmosphere of the grounds. Anne’s warm welcome and knowledge about the animals was excellent and we all enjoyed feeding the Alpacas, Llamas & Goats. The indoor pool was great for a quick swim & we felt nice and cosy in the rustic cabin accommodation which had a lovely view of the alpacas and farm. We will definitely be back. "
