You coukd not get a sun bed even though we went down at 5am people reserved them but never came back Restruants were very understaffed and food came out cold on several occasions Missy was helpful but clearly under pressure to sort the issues out, Slides great for kids activities good and inclusive of all, the tapenkkai restruants was fab as was angle the waiter in there.

I have stayed at this hotel before COVID and it's my favourite because the rooms are really good 👍 I stayed this time with my husband and found it really quiet and comfortable I recommend this

Their are many things to say about this hotel, like ahalf way house for instance very roudy another. But rough i think basically sums it up. We didnt stay we checked out after we had seen our rooms. They where clean though.

Better first time
This is the second time I have stayed at the Ramada. The staff are always great, the restaurant is fantastic. The rooms are always clean and in good order if not a little dated. My biggest gripe this time is the coffee etc is not always topped up. Its not a major problem but its not great when you have to ask reception for milk!

No water
Nobody told me there was going to be no water 10am-12pm when I had checked in less than 12 hours before. So I couldn’t have a shower before leaving for work. There’s clearly some planning in the cut off of the water supply as there now is a sign saying it will be off for the same hours each morning all this week.

Having a refit which is needed. Staff were not particularly friendly and the company havent responded to an email requesting a receipt. Generally a tired hotel which doesn't welcome or recieve guests well

Hotel room clean and fresh. No daily domestic service or even roping up tea bags. Rooms not sound proof. Unable to sleep because of noise from next door and from corridor. If you are looking for a good night sleep, this is not the place

Room was noisy Staff unhelpful Half an hour to check in Key didn’t work first time so a long walk back to reception to get it sorted Shower door leaked No plug in the sink Telephone didn’t work so I couldn’t contact reception to get Wi Fi password to work I was woken at 5-30 when something outside the window started working and was really noisy so could not get to sleep There was a lot of noise through the night with doors banging and people shouting Breakfast was not hot and the toaster had to go through a couple of times to get it right orange juice was watered down and weak sausages were cheap and tasteless All put together made a very bad experience and one I wouldn’t want to repeat after a long day I just needed a restful night

Not so good.
The hotel room itself was basic and dated. With no 3 pin plugs by the side of the bed. The bathroom was newly decorated but didn't have a toilet brush or a plug for a razor/toothbrush. My room was never visited by a maid to change the towels or empty the bin in the 4 days I was there. Every day I put the 'please see to my room' tab on the door whilst I was at work. The gym is basic, dated and busy.

Upon arrival we were greeted with Surname? There's your room number. Finally got to our room which was located in the roof. The place was overpowered with the smell of paint. Curtains did not cover the window Vending machine didnt work so couldnt get a drink after the bar shut (this was 11.30)

Poor refurb
Not happy with the £7 charge for wifi. Even though the hotel looks like it has had a refurb, it was seem to be done on the cheap and has a poor finish. The coffee and tea facilities in the room are very basic, no de-caff or green tea option.

From outside, this property looks appealing to the eye but this perception soon changes as you walk through the reception door! It is like walking back in time and gives a feeling of unused! Back in the day, i can imagine this hotel was very grand but, sadly, it has been neglected over the years and the public areas are very shabby and in need of a good clean. However, the room itself was spacious and reasonably clean. After a long drive , i decided to take an early night, in bed for 9.15pm so you can imagine the horror of being rudely awakened around 10pm to somebody walking in my room, turning the light on and saying something to me! When i had time to realise what had actually happened, i was badly shaken and really afraid to go back to sleep. I decided to get dressed and go down to reception to report what had just happened. The receptionist was surprised to hear of my experience and accompanied me back to my room and explained nobody else should have access to my room and most likely it was the maintenence man entering, in error! Never have i experienced this ordeal before whilst staying in a hotel and needless to say, i hardly slept the rest of the night as i was so shaken up, despite putting an ironing board and my suitcase at the back of the door! I must add; there was no chain on the door or double lock which probably explains the reason the maintenance man was still able to gain entry. As a result of this upsetting experience, i wont be staying here again

Full of character!
Its a big rambling old place with refurbishment work in progress while I was there. In its heyday it must have been an impressive facility. My room was in the main house and was clean and comfortable but inferior to say a Premier Inn. Breakfast was very nice with a good selection to choose from. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Decent companys don't hide behind TAC's they try
I never stayed but booked for a week but work plans changed and I tried to cancel but the hid behind their term and conditions and wouldnt give me a refund do they probably sold the room twice, shocking customer service and just to rub salt in they charve I think 16p a minute when calling the hotel, I thought them days are gone, won't stop there out of principal

Stinking of smoke in bedroom.
Arrived at hotel and was given or keys. Went to our room. Immediately we opened the door the smell of cigarettes was awful. Went in and the bathroom reeked of cigarettes smoke. Went back to reception asked for another room but was told the place was full. He did bring down an air freshener tin. But it was no good. It’s supposed to rain a non smoking hotel. The next day when we left we told the man on reception and a lady behind said hers was the same. The bathroom was worce because they go in there and put the expeller on.

Last time I stay here
Bathroom just recently replaced, shower hose is not long enough to stand under, water pressure is a joke so your standing against the taps. Bathroom was filthy. Bedroom decor is old. Telly is in the wrong place and can’t be moved. This was meant to be a superior double room!

Checked in to the room staff was very rude when we got to the room there was dirt all around the window mold at the window there was brown and green stuff on walls in bathroom the hallways were dirty rubbish laying about the WiFi even after paying for it was shocking there was like 4 channels on the tv the car park and road to hotel was pothole galore there was hammering and banging and drilling that started about 6am in morning was horrible would not recommend this hotel to anyone shocking standards and rude staff
