It’s a handy place to stay for the airport and the room was clean and spacious. It’s a long way from Biarritz centre and on the edge of an industrial estate

Cute hotel

We enjoyed our stay at this little hotel. Very convenient to train station and airport. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable. There are grocery options close as well.

Unhappy with bait and switch!

My main complaint was about the lack of a twin room. I was traveling with my daughter and took great pains to reserve twin rooms rather than double rooms. Despite my reservation showing "multiple beds," there was only one double bed in our room. The staff was unable (or unwilling) to find a twin room for us. Having said that, the bed was comfortable and the facilities basic but adequate.

Better than expected

Although the hotel is on the outskirts of the town and could have been noisy due to its proximity to the airport, the no 7 bus leaves from just opposite the hotel every 15 minutes and takes you directly (no atops) into town for 1.40€ (last bus is at midnight) and there don't seem to be any planes departing late or early so there is no disturbance from the airport. Considering the eye watering prices of hotels closer to town, the Campanille is a great option for an overnight stop off.
