"We checked in and went out to dinner at a local restaurant. When we returned, there was a horrendous storm. We lost power and air-conditioning. Some of the rooms had power so we were transferred to a room with air-conditioning. thanks to your very considerate staff. They did the best they could do under the circumstances. My main concern was that they were no emergency lights in the hallway. When we left at 6:45 the next morning, the hallways were pitch dark. Fortunately, there were windows at the stairs, so we were able to see our way down from the second floor. This is definitely something that Comfort Inn should look into.
Otherwise, the pool looked inviting even with the many Little Leaguers and their parents there for the Championship games.
There was no AC in the breakfast room so we left without eating. I did grab some hot water for tea, but it had a coffee taste to it, probably had coffee in the pot at one time. Otherwise, the breakfast items looked good!
The staff handled the emergency well, walking the property and checking on guests and rooms. Comfort Inn is one of our favorite hotels for comfort and price!"
