Best Western hotels in Bern

The hotel is right by the station which is very handy for a multi centre holiday and it is very central for everything you may want to do in Bern. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The roof terrace is beautiful and the rooms are really well equipped really comfy beds and brilliant showers. We didn’t eat at the restaurant so can’t comment on that, breakfast was 40 chf per head which seemed a lot so we used local cafes instead. Great location for exploring the city on foot. Instructions for checking in and out including all information needed for our stay were super clear and helpful. Facilities at the hotel were also great. The room itself was compact but incredibly clean and had everything one would need for a comfortable stay.

Located in the Embassy area of Bern, we rented a larger tha usual 1 bedrooom apartment in the basement level. Lots of light and everything spotless. Secured gated parking. The owner gave us tips of places to see and eat around the city. As it is very close, we never used the tram during our stay (but it's just around the corner if you need it). Room was comfortable but we could hear some noises from the floor above us (steps, tv; nothing major). Wifi signal was rather weak and stopped quite a...

Very helpful staff who made sure we were aware of everything we needed to know and were always on hand. The room was huge and had air conditioning. Very comfy bed. Breakfast was the only meal we had in but it was of a great quality and variety. The bus stops right outside the hotel door and takes you down to town or the train station and it’s free for visitors!

The welcome was lovely, the gentleman on reception was friendly and even took time to tell us where we should visit in the city, and a walking route that offers the most amazing views. The room was lovely and had everything we could want for our one night stay. The balcony off the room was lovely and a great place to sit to enjoy a cup of coffee.

Spotlessly clean, really helpful staff and great breakfast. This was an excellent place to stay for exploring Bern. Nice and quiet but within easy walking distance of the city and only 10 mins from park area where you could swim in the river. Highly recommend for solo travellers (or couples).

The hotel is located in the city centre and within easy walk of the main railway station. The room was well equipped and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was plentiful. I also liked the coffee and tea station on the 4th floor where you could make free coffees and teas. The staff were very helpful and professional. The only very minor comment I would make is that the hand towels in the bathroom were very small.

Beautiful room with a fantastic view, just what we needed. The room has everything already thought of for you, down to the little details. And only 13 minutes away on the tram from the centre, which is free for those staying, so overall ideal and exceeded expectations.

Great hotel, really convenient next to Ostermundigen train station and access to Bern, but you wouldn’t know it because the rooms are soundproof. Easily the best value for money we’ve had in Switzerland so far!
