Great hotel in a fantastic location

A very friendly, informal hotel in the most lively part of Kreuzberg. Just renovated, my room and bathroom were huge, clean and comfortable. Definitely my choice for the next visit.

Everything was tidy and clean - PERFECT STAY (except for one thing: TV was missing Sound on Most of the Channels and also only 15/50 TV-Stations were working!!! Dead Host: do a Channel Scan!)

The rooms are basic, but clean. Because they are inside a courtyard, they are quiet - no street noise. Better to request a room not on the first floor, as those can be looked into from the courtyard and so you have to keep the drapes closed to have privacy.

Love it!

This place is awesome. This was my second stay here and they truly go above and beyond. The rooms are super spacious and have everything you need. The staff even reached out for check in to make it as easy as possible. Timo was so dedicated and helpful! I will definitely come back here again! It’s such a great walking distance as well as close to all trains and busses!

Wow !

We are very happy with this hotel. WOW is all I can say about our room. Even with 4 beds, there is still lots of furniture and comfortable space to move around and relax in. The bathroom is large and well-stocked. Overall cleanliness if superb. This is certainly one of the nicest hotels we have even been and we travel a lot as a family.

Even though the this is advertised as a hotel, it is not. These are basically "hotel" rooms in a courtyard off the street. There is no reception, no breakfast. This place is a max of 4 rooms (let it be more) in an apartment block facing the courtyard. I believe this is a large apartment that was turned into a few hotel rooms. The room was okay. The ventilator made low noise.

Liked: Good location. Self check-in. Well designed large room. Good shower. Good for the price and reviewing based on it being 3 star. Disliked: Really noisy due to nearby bar/parties. It was really hot and as there is no aircon we needed the windows open. We averaged 4-5 hours sleep because of this. Probably fine if you are planning to be out until early hours though as it is quiet in the day. No water or coffee was unexpected. Doors were super hard to open (gate and main building). We thought there was a cafe but that looked closed down.

My Check In experience was great, Staff was SUPER Friendly and even showed me to my room (instead of just explaining it) - this made a difference. The only thing that I wasnt happy with was that I had a gigantic bathroom (which was supposed to be for handicapped people) but nowhere to put my bag with my hygiene things... and I thought this was unfortunate especially for handycapped folks... i put my stuff on the floor eventually but someone in a wheelchair would not necessarily be able to do this... the furniture could have been a bit cozier, there was so much space. Cool though that there was a room that should work for someone with a wheelchair...

Bin oft in Berlin, aber nie wieder hier. Die Liste ist lang, aber zb trommelte um 10 Uhr morgens ein Mann an meine Tür und rief auf Englisch “Wake up! Wake up.” Ich: “äh hallo?” Er: “Sie wissen schon, dass um 11 Checkout ist?” Ich: “Aber es ist halt erst 10…?” Er: “Gut dann komm ich um 11 wieder.” Verstehe ich nicht. Ist doch meine Sache, wann mein Wecker klingelt, solange ich um 11 raus bin? Sowas ist mir noch nie passiert. WLAN ging GAR NICHT, dabei steht extra dass sie High-Speed Internet haben und ich hatte das Hotel extra wegen WLAN ausgesucht (sollte einen Zoom Call haben, musste ich absagen). Per Email freundlich angefragt ob man den Router neu starten könne oder ein anderes Zimmer verfügbar sei: keine Antwort. Über Expedia geschrieben: auch keine Antwort, nie, nichts. Auch jetzt Tage später, null Kommunikation, außer es geht darum, eine Stunde vor Checkout schon an meine Tür zu trommeln.

The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillow was probably the worst pillow I’ve ever used. Room is hot and unable to use the ceiling fan that is in the room. You can open the window but as soon as 0800 am hits, the alley way becomes very noisy. Trying to find where we were supposed to park was ridiculous, when we did find it later when we no longer needed it, we realized there were vehicles blocking access previously and wouldn’t have been able to use the parking spot regardless.
