Great modern hotel .

Check in was quick and easy excellent all staff at reception. Hotel very clean and modern with great facilities. Meals very nice once again nice staff great choice . Only faults i could find was wifi not the best . Gym could fo with a update . Spa very nice and worth a visit . One member of spa staff was rude but rest fine

Chaotic Xmas dinner

Majority of staff were stern and unfriendly.Clesning was not up to standard, dust under beds, floors never washed all week ,and one day room not cleaned had to chase after cleaners Xmas meal was a disaster. Split into 2 sitting which meant approx 300 people were queuing to gain entrance , resulted in large and lengthy queues waiting for vegetables and turkey . It must have taken 30 minutes for everyone to gain access, instead of being relaxing it was Avery bad experience .would not recommend this hotel over the festive period

Overall very good but room for improvement

Our stay at the Ambassador Playa II was very good on the whole, the hotel and rooms are modern and clean and the breakfast (we did B&B) had lots of variety of food to cater for everyone. The only downsides were that on two occasions our room was left open by the maids who hadn’t pulled the door closed so anybody could have entered the room. Luckily we had hired a safe (costing €20 for the week, mind - this should be free) so stored most of our belongings in there but I was not happy about this. Maintenance did come to sort the door after I reported it so it slammed shut when leaving the room but this should not have happened in the first place. Also, the mad rush for the sun beds in the morning is stressful, people are queuing before the pool opens at 8.30am and reserving sun beds with towels. Some days if you didn’t get to the pool at 8.30 there was no chance of getting a bed. We noticed many people reserving sun beds who were nowhere to be seen for several hours afterwards. The pool staff did go around periodically removing towels off unoccupied beds but a policy of not allowing beds to be reserved would be sensible and avoid people having to get up very early to get beds due to the mad rush. Also, there are not enough sun parasols.

Location, location, location

Perfect location right on the strip. Despite this the rooms were quiet . Best hotel ive stayed in Benidorm and ive stayed in a few. Excellent staff . I can't fault the hotel . If you want to be in the lively area then stay here. Buffet food to a high standard . Select pool view

Stayed a couple of times now. Modern, clean, right on the strip. Staff were all superb and friendly. Food was brilliant too! Will definitely be back again! Book the spa early into your trip!
