Liked: Staff & service
When entering from the street the initial impression is a stairwell that really needs maintance and with a bad smell to it. The hostel itself could do with a clean up and some fresh paint to make it look a little more inviting and cozy. But it's a cheap stay, so what can you expect?
Bed and showers very ok, and the staff was helpful and friendly, though, which to some degree makes up for the lack of maintance and tidyness.
Short stay. A quick NYE trip. Centrally located very close to republic square.
The Manager is super helpful and accommodating. 10 mins walk from the bus station a drop point from the airport, A1 minibus.
I was unable to cancel my reservation due to a glitch in the Expedia system. I did not stay at the hotel but was charged as usual. I asked for a refund in advance, but this hotel did nothing to accommodate me. I cannot allow this to happen. If you want to cancel this review, please give me a refund.
Horrible... Just horrible! I wouldn't wish this hostel on my worst enemy. We had booked two nights at the hostel, but after just one night we left as fast as we could. The bathrooms were messy and dirty. Most of the community showers were filled with old air conditioning systems and luggage. The duvets didn't have bedsheeds on them. The sheet on the bed was dirty and stained. We slepped fully clothed. When we locked the door, it was very difficult to open again. it isn't worth the money.
