Luxurious stay

It was amazing. Stayed in cottage 3 and oh the luxury! There’s a big tub! Really relaxing. The kids also enjoyed the place. Will be sure to stop by next road trip!

A Refreshing Stop Over

We have stayed here before and is our preferred place to stay in Beaufort West. It's comfi, and nice to be able to order a quick dinner or breakfast. They have a generator which is great to know after a long drive when things need to be charged. They are also pet friendly which we need from time to time. Great place!

Check out was at 10am. At 10am on the dot housekeeping was knocking on the door. We checked out at 10:15.. When I raised my concern for patience and consideration, the front desk staff showed no empathy.

Beaufort West as a place has little to recommend it - apart from the proximity of the Karoo National Park and the Museum that is largely devoted to commemorating the birth and life of Christian Barnard. It is a place to stay overnight while one breaks-up a long journey to somewhere else: a 2-night stay is more than enough. Having said that, the Guest House appears to be one of the better accommodations in the town; it is centrally placed, a number of sensible rules, a pleasant internal vista and appears prosperous.

Last minute booking

Left Cape Town a day earlier than planned and booked in last minute. We arranged late arrival and ordered a meal from the menu via WhatsApp. We arrived and we had a very warm welcome, our meals were in room and we could use the Microwave to heat it up. Both the meals were delicious. Great last minute booking and will stay there again.

Charming cottage

We stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage as we had dogs with us. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. We even had a delicious dinner brought to the cottage, which was old fashioned with wooden floors and the old charm that one expects. The only thing I'd change is to have some grass in the back garden, and not just stone. Would definately stay again.

Perfect stay!

We stayed over In Beaufort on our way to the Cape. The staff were very friendly, the room was clean, free wifi, dinner was amazing and overall we had a really great stop over. There is a pool to cool off in, which was very welcome in the Karoo heat. Will definitely return!

Facility is wonderful, have stayed there many times. Please do not use Hotels.com, they have a habit of confirming hotels, taking your money, then telling you the hotel is full, and do not refund you!

Brilliant place!

We have stayed there several times en-route by car. No matter how late we arrive, they go out of their way to greet us, pre-warm our room or cottage if inclement weather - really can not say enough.
