"This is a lovely hotel with a wonderful restaurant and a nice convenience store on the property. The only drawback is the location which is a good bit away from Dublin City Center and the airport and taxis are expensive. There is a Dart station nearby but I did not use it so I cannot comment on how close or convenient it was to use."

"Booked this hotel as it was near where we were attending a family christening. Good communication from the hotel. But, they are undergoing refurbishment to all the sea view rooms, it didn't really detract from our stay though. The hotel does look dated and tatty from the outside but once inside it's very nice. Good friendly attentive staff. Would imagine that when it's refurb is finished it'll be a jewel along the seafront in Dun Laoghaire. "
"Amazing place to stay. Very walkable with close by bus stop. Breakfast was amazing and staff very very accommodating. Rooms were cozy and bed comfy. Property is quaint and cute for being in city. We will return with our kids soon! "
"The Davenport is a lovely hotel in the center of Dublin City. Lots of great restaurants and parks close by for families and also very close to all tourist attractions.
The only one point deducted is that the cleaning staff didn’t clean the rooms very often "
"Rooms were small but nicely decorated. Service was SUPERB. One example: my sister asked for a Manhattan, but the bartender didn’t know how to make it. The next night, he had studied how to make it and made her an excellent cocktail. Area around the hotel was quiet, but close to a fun area with tons of great restaurants and bars. "
