It was our first "glamping" experience and it was great! There were enough amenities to make life not overly arduous, but not so much it took away the camping experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely check out the locations in other national parks.

The setting is beautiful but our lodge was very close to other lodges so we had limited privacy and could hear other guests talking or coughing or walking by. We were a bit disappointed in the quality of the restaurant too. It’s like a cafeteria with some upscale options. Our bed was very comfortable and we really appreciated the wood stove.

We loved staying at under canvas for glamping! The bon fires were great and we had so much fun making smores and looking at the ocean and night sky. The tent felf a bit cold at night but each tent has a fire stove for some heat. The dinner was great at the restaurant but breakfast was just ok

Just stayed in Under the Canvas, Surry Me The stay was wonderful! More importantly the staff was incredibly welcoming, helpful and attentive. You’ve got to try the Rosemary & Brown Sugar infused coffee! Great place for everyone. Can’t wait to do it again

Pro tip: use the shower to warm up your tent on cold nights, alongside the fire stove. We had an awesome stay. The staff were so accommodating. It is glamping, so it is meant to be minimal; but they do have everything you may need. We stayed in a far away tent, which is not fun for the distance, but oh-so- quiet in the morning as others are waking and heading to lobby tent. Big shout out to Sydney and Maggie for being so welcoming and helpful to our family. This was our first glamping experience. Our girls loved it. We will be back—- with hopefully much warmer weather!

Had a great experience staying at Under Canvas in Acadia. The whole vibe was fantastic. The experience is rustic and it provides a really fun entry point into camping for kids. The grounds are well maintained and there is a beautiful backdrop to the water. It's definitely a drive (~45min) to the park from the camp ground but it's not bad. The restaurant on site was good. We had breakfast there for our three day visit and it was above expectations. The staff were great - everyone there is really friendly and wants to make your stay enjoyable. I read a lot of reviews going into this trip - you have to set expectations for yourself. Glamping can still be rustic. My family enjoyed it and made it a fun experience. My kids loved the smores and camp fires. They also loved the little beach for skipping rocks and looking for treasures. I would recommend this experience if you have little kids and want to introduce them to camping.

This place was absolutely amazing! It's such a cool concept and the whole vibe was so fun. The views are stunning, the tents are awesome and cozy, the staff were so friendly and accommodating, and the camaraderie of the main tent was just wonderful. We will definitely come back and visit other Under Canvas locations as well.
