My husband and I stayed at the Bucksport on our way through to Bar Harbor and it was such a nice stay. We really enjoyed our stay. The bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean and it was so quaint. We even had a deer family visit us while we were sitting outside by the fire. Will definitely stay again.

The Bucksport Inn is an excellent place to stay when traveling with a dog, The location on the Main coast is great, About an hour from Bar Harbor. The property has a walking trail, fire pits with wood supplied, horseshoes, and plenty of outside seating. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about area attractions. I highly recommend it to all but especially if you have your dog along.

Such a friendly, perfectly clean, well located place to stay. Garden area in back with picnic tables, corn hole boards, fire pits, gazebo and flowers is a delightful surprise. Folks running the place could not be nicer. Walking distance to grocery store restaurants and a beautiful mile long public path along the river.

The room was pristine and well cared for. It was an extremely comfortable spot for day trips in the area. The staff were very kind and personable. I only regret not taking the time to use the area in the back for a fire in the evening!

Helpful and accommodating staff, very clean room, very comfy bed and quiet. This is a great place to stay if you want access to Acadia and all the beautiful Maine attractions, but would like some quiet time. There are a couple fabulous restaurants in Bucksport. Including a grade A smoothie, protein shake and breakfast sandwich shop. Very friendly people!

We got in a freshly renovated room. Everything was in good order. Clean carpet and bedding, renovated bathroom. Comfortable mattresses and pillows. Got a good night sleep. Conveniently located next to Dunkin Donuts, 5 min walk to Hannafort grocery store. Low traffic, woody area, well-maintained lawns. Friendly staff got us a reservation for a future date on-site and even at a lower rate than expected. They also have a 10% discount if you are visiting the Maine Maritime academy in Castine.
