Wonderful stay at Lamphu Tree House

We had a wonderful stay at this tranquil oasis along the quiet canal.The food at the restaurant was very good. The staff attentive and friendly. The rooms are clean and well decorated, however quite small. The beds are a bit too firm for my taste. The pool area has a nice set up with lots of shade creating a perfect environment for kids and adults alike. Great location!

Quiet, unless you have a room on the roof, which provides a great view but is hot and the traffic noise is considerable. The top rooms are spacious, great bathroom with shower and tub. Staff is very friendly and easy-going but speak too little english (or any other language than thai). Very good street restaurant right next to the hotel.

Great option for a peaceful, quiet stay

We had reserved a room with twin beds but when we arrived, they said they only had rooms with one bed. After quite a lot of discussion and insistence, they eventually found a room with twin beds. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. We love the location, in a quiet leafy neighborhood. Walking distance to several nice cafes like Velodome coffee and Gaginang roof top bar.

Great location if you want quiet, but near enough to places. Best hotel we've stayed at in Bangkok (suite has wonderful views & balconies). Entrance is on the Lamphu canal, if arriving by taxi need to dropped at the bridge.

We loved Lamphu Tree! Very nice employees, so much so they even mailed our computer to us that we left behind, all for 200 bhat! Great location but far enough away from Khoa San Road that you could relax. Great value and overall would definitely stay again!

This hotel was a perfect location in Bangkok. Super quiet after walking around Bangkok in the heat. Great to cool down in the pool and drink a cold beer on the patio. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. Luggage could be stored in a secure location.

The staff is patient & friendly but you eill need google translate for some. Its in s great area. Lots of temples & street food nearby. They accept cash as payment. The only downside is the mrt is a 25 walk away but there are sights along the way & Chinatown.

Amazing hotel. This is a great choice to be close to all the big sights on Bangkok without breaking the bank. There are many restaurants, convenience stores, laundromats, stores, and bus stops within a 5 minute radius. There is half a flight of stairs up to the elevator which might be an issue for people with mobility issues. Wifi also became sporadic at night which could make remote work difficult if you need the internet.

it has characters, cars can 't get to the entrance, got stairs to go up to lift and its only for second floor, so more stairs to climb if you are on first floor, not for elderly with heavy luggages, no kettle in rooms for tea and coffee, only in entrance hall so you can have them in opening next to pool or launge. staffs were all pleasant.

Staff overall were friendly, helpful and polite. Complimentary water, bananas, coffee facilities. Pool area pleasant. Very tired rooms. Tatty old air conditioning unit, ran only freezing cold. Shower room tiny with shower that leaked (they did repair it when we informed them though) mouldy shower curtain and extremely dirty floor mat in shower cubicle. The sink was in the bedroom, which was also small so a very odd arrangement. There was a balcony but no table and chairs to sit outside. So having a balcony was not worth the additional cost. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room. They were provided but only in reception.
