1) hotel demands a 300 BHT security deposit in cash before issuing a hotel key 2) meals at the hotel must also be paid in cash 3) there is a tip box at the hotel lobby reception desk. This is not expected at a 4 star hotel 4) there is not hot And cold running water in the bathroom sink, only the shower 4) I ordered a meal with water. There was no charge for water on the hotel menu. The receptionist (a young man with glasses) walked past me to the kitchen and had a bottle of water. I thought the water was for me, but it was for himself. At that point I asked for water and was charged 15 BHT.

I booked this hotel to be close to the airport for an early flight but it was a 30 min taxi ride. The room was decent with minimum daily clean up…more of a quick tidy really. I was dissapointed at the condition of the pool. I had to ask if someone could clean it at 11 am and was met with confusion. Then later when I went for a swim there was bird poop on deck.
