"It was very beautiful with the scenery, especially at the pool. However some of the photos shown aren't accurate of the resort as a whole. The staff was very friendly, and even though there was a language barrier, through translating apps it was easy to communicate. "This place is sensational - the view, the serenity, the monkeys! . Even though comms with the hotel can be challenging, I would recommend over and over again. Such an idyllic place. Definitely pay for the upgrade however bear in mind that it all closes at 8.30pm which is a little strange. Had I known I would have brought my own supplies for a few balcony drinks. Staff accommodated gluten free well, except for breakfast where there was no bread. Not the end of the world but a bit surprising given I could have had spaghetti the night before :)"
