I stayed at Hazz Palace Hotel for a day, and overall, my experience was great. The rooms were spacious and clean, and I had no issues with comfort. The staff was very polite and helpful, always answering my questions with patience. The breakfast selection was decent, though a bit more variety would have been nice. The hotel’s location was also convenient, making it easy to reach the main points of the city. Considering the price-to-quality ratio, I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

This is a old building and might not seem very clean. But the location is very good and close to commercial center, old city and Caspian sea. The breakfast was good and the staff were helpful. I had requested for shuttle for transfer from airport to hotel since my flight supposed to land at 2 am. The shuttle never showed up and I had to get a taxi after waiting for almost 20-25 minutes. Just as an FYI that they might forget about shuttle.

If I could describe Hazz Hotel Baku in one word, it would be “horrible.” We arrived with a confirmed booking, only to be told there was no room available and were moved to another property (VIRTAGE Hotel), which felt like a basement-level facility rather than a proper hotel. The rooms were outdated, smelly, and poorly maintained. The one we were given had multiple issues: broken and flickering lights (even after maintenance attempts), and an overall neglected condition. The mattress was heavily worn out, to the point where we had to layer blankets just to avoid feeling the springs. Basic services were missing. There was no bottled water on arrival, and despite requesting it, we were told they had none available. We only received two bottles just before checkout. Toiletries such as soap and shampoo were also not provided, and there was no refilling during our stay. Wi-Fi did not work in the room, and even mobile data was unusable due to the room’s location. Staff were frequently seen smoking right outside the main entrance, which added to the poor impression. To make matters worse, after 11 PM—while we were resting after a long flight—a staff member knocked on our door demanding a $7 city tax payment. This felt completely unnecessary and poorly timed, especially since we still had two nights left and it could have been requested during the day. The only positive aspect was the location near Nizami Street. Otherwise, this stay was extremely disappointing, and I would not

Fantastic hotel, with the most lovely and helpful staff you could ever wish to have. Honestly they can’t do enough to make sure your stay is comfortable. The hotel is really well located to explore the city, a short walk to Fountains Square where there are lots of bars and restaurants. Thank you again!
