Very clean room, comfy bed, nice mini fridge and microwave (be advised, my mini fridge did not have a freezer), nice quiet place, very nice breakfast. I can't speak for the pool as I did not make any attempt to use it. Extremely friendly staff as well. A very nice stay. I spent 6 nights here.

Well priced hotel for the location. Ok not the newest or plushest of hotels but way cheaper than others downtown and room nice and quiet with good aircon. If you just want somewhere to sleep and spend money on entertainment instead then this option is great

The floor had a missing piece of laminate and the piece between the bedroom and bathroom was not secured so every time we walked into the sink area, the piece would come up. The staff were friendly. The hotel was in walking distance to Moody Center and the other hotels were over $200 more a night. All we needed was a bed to sleep in because we weren't there even 8 hours in the room.

This is a basic road-side motel. No frills. It's most compelling feature is that it is right across I-35 from UT, which I was visiting with my daughter. The rooms look and smell old, and the ice machine never worked. But, the staff were friendly and helpful. I arrived with a broken foot, and they shuffled things to give me a room on the first floor, which I appreciated. So, it's good for what it is. Just don't expect the Ritz.

No frills but great place to sleep

I really enjoy staying at this no frills hotel. The staff is always friendly. The rooms are comfortable. The breakfast is waffles, cereal, yogurt etc. It’s so close to downtown yet not in the middle of noise.

Pleasantly surprised

I really wasn't expecting much from this motel. I did arrive 2 hours earlier than the check-in time of 3:00 and the young lady said I'd have to come back or pay an additional fee. We walked around the lake for a couple of hours and then came back after 3. The young man who checked us in was really professional and kind. The room, upstairs, was free of water-stained ceilings and it appeared to be quite clean and cozy. Overall, pleasantly surprised !
