"Have been there several times and enjoyed it. This last time wasn't as nice.
For breakfast my fiance and I were both not feeling great. I asked to take the complimentary breakfast up to my room and was told no because we may steal the utensils and plates. This was never the case before. For dinner I ordered a cocktail and was able to take it upstairs, the very nice waitress told me that for breakfast, I could take items upstairs if I used a napkin. We tried the nexy morning and were rudely confronted by the restaurant manager. Who told us the reason we could take good to put room was because of bugs....even though you are allowed to order food to the room. So that's very contradictory information.
We saw a mouse in the restaurant as we were leaving.
I don't think we'll go back unfortunately, whivh sucks because I always used to enjoy it."
"Room was clean, staff was great. We had "dinner" there the first night, and the food selection was almost non existant, but prices were not too bad considering it was a hotel. Some items were not avaliable because they were "not ordered". We went for anwalk through the hotel and ended up in a dark deadend stairwell, that had, i think, blood splattered on the wall. When in the parking garage, we did not know how to get to our floor we were on. It ended up, we had too goto the main lobby (1st floor) which was about a 2 minuite walk from the elevator, and take the inside elevators up to our floor. When in our room, there were no locks on the bathroom doors, when we asked why, they said it was for security purposes. I dont understand why thats a security feature. This hotel is in the middle of a part of the city where is is ALL chinese restaurants. I guess we shoumd have done research on that part. We will not be stayi g here again if we travel to this area. "
"Hôtel lobby was great. Room needs major fixing. Dings and scrapes in wall, balcony door not locking, closet door off hinges and broken, hair dryer rack ripped out of bathroom wall, etc etc. It seems like this room was very neglected. "
"Terrible! I experienced a very unpleasant stay at Monte Carlo Inn Vaughan and customer service was extremely poor, in particular pertaining to the typical security deposit that was not returned, even having a clear check out. Watch transactions for accuracy, adherence to regulations and safety."
"I had an issue with the toilet and sink. I told front desk about it Thursday and Friday. Nothing was done about it when I checked out all they said was because you’re already prepaid. We can’t do anything about it. We can upgrade you on your next day here why would I wanna stay there if they didn’t fix it ASAP when I was there? "
"Stayed here the 2nd night cause it was non refundable; the breakfast is lacking but you can pay to upgrade to eggs (the good thing it opens at 6am weekdays vs 7). The hot water is extremely hot so be mindful of that. The Vaughan Monte Carlo was nice so thought would try this one. "
