The room was a decent size with a very comfy bed.
Breakfast had a wide choice of everything you’d expect from a hotel buffet, though the cold options were slightly better quality than the hot food.
The staff were all so helpful and friendly, and the cleaning was excellent.
The roof top pool, bar and restaurant were all excellent with a great view of the acropolis. Our room also had an acropolis view from the balcony, but there were no chairs outside to sit on it.
The area outside isn’t the greatest. It’s quite run down and while I didn’t feel unsafe during the day, I wouldn’t have wanted to walk too much at night.
That said, the Metro station was right outside and incredibly cheap and easy to get into the city centre, plus there’s a cafe and newsagent type kiosks too.
I’d happily stay there again, but just don’t expect too much from the neighbourhood.
