"We (a family of 3 generations) chose the hotel specifically for its proximity to the Heraklion airport. The hotel was immaculate, the staff helpful and the rooms were also immaculate and provided all the necessities for an overnight stay. Yes, we did hear the planes going overhead - but that was expected. And the heavy drapes mitigated the noise considerably. The beds were so comfortable that none of us had any trouble sleeping. Our plane left too early to enjoy the wonderful-sounding breakfast...
