el hotel estaba cerrado...sin huéspedes

Al llegar, el hotel estaba cerrado, ni un cartel, ni un teléfono, ni nada...Si no fuera por un vecino que se ofreció a llamar al número, no nos hubiéramos enterado que habían preferido cerrar por ser nosotros la única reserva que tenían...Estuvimos más de 3 horas en la puerta esperando y nunca nos avisaron..Decepcionante

Small and Central

We stated 2 nights in July. It was hot, but there was a fan in the room. The service was excellent and rpthe breakfasts of good quality. We would definitely use this hotel again.

Un expected surprises

The staff were very helpful and friendly at this small but delightful hotel. The bed was comfortable; but the room was stifling hot without air-conditioning, as the temperatures were in the high 30's. Air conditioning was mentioned on the web-site, definitely needed, but because of energy conservation was absent. There wasn't a fan available in the room either. As it was our first visit to Assisi, were not aware just how hilly the town was, and were somewhat surprised to discover that we had to scramble up stairs with our cases to reach the hotel.

Very nice little hotel with everything you need. Also very clean. Gabriela, the owner, is a sweet heart and tries to make every client happy. Perfect ambiance to experience in Assisi! I strongly recommend.

Religious experience

Our room even tough it was on the first floor,had a gorgeous view of Umbria. The lady at the desk was very nice, based on the time we had she recommended us where to go, what to see, where to eat, what to eat, it was excellent. Breakfast was bread, croissant,yogurt. We were able to park the car at night nearby, until 10am the next morning, when we had to take it to the paying parking lot due to city regulations. Assissi was a wonderful experience.

Poor access to this very small hotel. Get directions before you visit. Breakfast excellent but no other food or drink. Room excellent. Once there, great access to this very hilly town. Owner gave excellent directions on best route to see town and where to eat.

L'hotel si trova in pieno centro di Assisi ed è stata davvero un'ottima scelta. La struttura non è molto grande,ed è veramente carina, pulita e confortevole. Molto disponibile la proprietaria che ci ha dato tante notizie sulla città.

アッシジの旧市街の中にあり観光スポットへのアクセスが良い。鉄道駅からの定期バスのターミナルから、Hotelの位置が近く、わかりやすかった。坂道ばかりの街ですのでこのことが一番ありがたいと感じました。

아씨시의 중앙에 있어서 편리합니다. 오래된 연륜을 느낄 수 있는 호텔입니다. 전망도 좋고 편안합니다. 아침식사에 풍부한 과일이 나옵니다. 식사는 맛있고 정성이 느껴집니다. 호텔의 분위기는 예술적인 감수성을 느끼게 합니다. 시설은 조금 아쉬었지만 전체적으로는 그 이상으로 만족스러웠습니다. Conveniently in the center of Assisi. I feel the breath of this tradition. Comfortable and also good prospects. Rich fruit are provided for breakfast. Meals are tasty and hospitality you will feel. You can feel the artistic sensibility in this hotel. Facility is a little inconvenient. Overall, however, was very satisfactory.

Dont go here in October

We had no heat in our room. We had no hot water x 2 days we were there.they told us the boiler was either broken or not turned on. It was unusually cold there and they did not plan to turn the heat on until nov 6 th. We were very uncomfortable and did not enjoy freezing cold showers. The breakfast was very plain ,one hard roll one plain croissant,the cappachino she made us was however good. We however loved the lady at the desk,gabryl she was great and helpful when we required taxi assistance

Comfort and an amazing city

Enjoyed our short stay thoroughly. Staff were very helpful and considerate, lots of suggestions for restaurants and local attractions. Absolutely loved the courtyard in back, good view and nice place to relax after a lot of walking. Assisi is a awesome city and well worth visiting. Suggest contacting the hotel about parking and access to the hotel. Don't drive around lost like we did.

Beautiful town and nice hotel!

Assisi is a beautiful city. We only stayed one night and unfortunately it was the feast day of St. Francis and the town was overflowing! The people were friendly and the room was nice. It would be difficult for anyone with mobility problems, because you must take your suitcases up many steps, then drive your car to a parking garage some distance away. However, it was comfortable and the breakfast was adequate.

Gem In a historic town

Quite lovely small and refined hotel. Owner provided detailed advise for touring Assisi and nearby restaurants and was quite personable and passionate. Breakfast was included, which is a plus.

Outstanding staff. No air conditioning. TV did not work but there is so much to see in Assisi so it did not matter. Great hotel but if you are there in the hottest weeks, you might consider a place with air conditioning.

da Hotel loiegt in zentraler Lage in Assisi, die etwas kleinen Zimmer haben eine tolle Aussicht über das Tal. Der Service ist sehr freundlich, das Frühstück ist nicht überragend aber o.k. Man fühlt sich in diesem Hotel sehr wohl.

Be ready to climb

This hotel is right in the old section of Assisi. The hills are steep but if you can handle this, it is fairly close to everything. The parking is inconvenient. They told me I could not park on the street or i would get a ticket. I ignored them and got no ticket. Parking is $25 and inconvenient. They had no ice and scanty breakfast. But they also had a great patio available to all patrons. I would definitely go back.

séjour remarquable dans cet hôtel

Nous y avons passé deux nuits les 13 et 14 juillet 2009. L'hôtel est très bien situé sur les pentes d'Assise, proche de la basilique Saint-François et peu éloigné du centre, tout en étant au calme. Le personnel est serviable, les chambres très confortables et bien équipées. Elles ont vue sur la vallée. Le petit déjeuner peut être pris sur la terrasse. Le parking (payant) n'est pas très éloigné. Toutefois, l'emplacement de l'hôtel est assez difficile à trouver et le petit-déjeuner est quelconque ! Ces deux remarques ne remettent pas en cause la qualité de cet établissement que je recommande vivement.
