We were in the area to do some family history research. Ariano Irpino was an excellent base, and Hotel Biffy was a great place to lay down our heads at the end of the day. Great beds, pillows and duvets. Breakfast was pleasant. Thank you to multilingual barista Jasmine. A supermercato is just around the corner for picnic supplies.

Hotel Biffy is a beautiful property. The rooms are nice. The staff are professionaly, courteous, helpful and most speak English. On the flip side, Hotel Biffy is primarily a function venue. I stayed for 8 nights. Of those, there were events 4 of the 8 nights. 2 went well past midnight. 2 went until 2AM. There is no soundproofing for the rooms. Every plastic chair being dragged across the tile floors is heard throught the hotel. The music for these events is always played at a level 12 out of 10. Meaning, if you're not part of the event, you're not getting any sleep until the event is over. There are 3 event locations at the hotel: outdoors, a hall on the ground floor and a smaller hall on the 4th floor. There is also no advanced notice of events. You're just surprised to have the music start at 6PM and go for 8 hours. The 4 events I survived completely ruined my trip. Had I known the hotel management had no consideration for the other guests at the hotel when scheduling and controlling event functions, I wuld not have stayed there. Biffy will remain on my list of potential hotels but only as a last resort option. Which is too bad because it is a nice hotel in a nice area with wonderful staff. I kinda like to get my sleep at night, though and that's not guaranteed at Biffy.

Hotel is quiet and clean. Close to a bus stop , banks , and restaurants. Staff is very helpful. Eggs can be requested at breakfast. The view from my room and balcony was amazing . I'll be back !

This place is absurd. Service was rude, unhelpful and generally clueless. In my "luxury" room the toilet flushed only some of the time, the phone didn't work, the towels, toilet paper and toiletries were of hostel quality

Gem on top of the hill.

Stayed here during a visit to our family's home town. The hotel was very spacious and since there were few guests we were very well attended to. Extremely nice hotel for a very low price with very accommodating staff. The grounds were beautiful and there were great views of the surrounding hills.

I am mostly writing because the current reviews on Expedia are not inaccurate and, unfortunately for me, I depend on reviews while making a choice of hotel. Related to The Hotel Biffy, the reviews don't reflect an accurate state of affairs. The property has a creepy quality and feels unclean. s completely subpar in terms of comfort and cleanliness. I had a hard time sleeping.

Ci serviva un hotel in zona per spezzare un viaggio e abbiamo deciso di fermarci qui. Bene o male tutto è stato perfetto. L'unica nota negativa è che l'aria condizionata si sentiva molto poco in camera ma per il resto siamo stati benissimo. Abbiamo fatto anche la Spa e ne vale la pena. sicuramente ci torneremo

Buon soggiorno per staccare dalla routine

Hotel pulito ed ottimo per staccare la spina dalla routine,bellissima la stanza separata per la vasca idromassaggio sembrava di stare in una spa Ottima anche la colazione ,abbondante e buoni prodotti. L'unica pecca e che nella sala ricevimenti ci stava una festa e nella stanza si sentiva tutto fino a tarda ora però sono stati molto gentili ed hanno offerto la colazione.

Good find in a small town

The staff was very friendly and access to the spa was so worth the upgrade. The rooms are very basic and do their part. The views are lovely and the spa was very enjoyable. The breakfast was minimal. The parking was very convenient. Overall a decent find in a small town.
