Hotel Universal it is a affordable hotel close to city center. Room was good and clean. It has not ramp for disabled persons, a few stairs to get in .Staff a bit unfriendly. But at the end of the day was good.

I stayed at the Universal for 11 nights. My room was clean, the sheets and blankets as good as new, and attended to every day. It was quiet with no traffic noise and the occasional sounds from other rooms stopped at a reasonable hour. The staff were all friendly, helpful and simpatico. The hotel is in an excellent location about 8 minutes walk to the Cathedral the heart of historic Murcia. The Universal is completely unpretentious, great value for money and I will definitely return.

I checked in at the hotel and 15 minutes later when I found another hotel I checked out. The room had a terrible musty smell, the TV was smaller than my laptop monitor. the “sofabed” was bad looking. Not to mention the horrible intense yellow color on the walls of the room. The only good experience was the guys at the reception

La habitación pequeñísima, el salón no funciona tv ni satelite y ni lo sabían antencion lenta y olvidadiza, email que te envían para reserva de parking por 11,42 € al dia luego te cobran 14€ muchos errores y dejadez por parte del personal de servicio instalaciones que no funcionan calefacción y aire acondicionado contralado desde la recepción por plantas( si yo tengo calor pido que me pongan el air y me dicen que no por que va por plantas y temdrian que enfriar todas las habitaciones un autentico desastre de hotel muy enfadado me aguanto y me rio por no llorar nunca mas una vergüenza

No lo recomendaría
Horrible la vdd no descansé nada se escucha los ruidos de todos lado y había unas personas peleando en el pasillo del mismo piso y se escuchaba todo y no hicieron nada para callarlos el baño me dio asco y súper pequeño son una persona de 1.83 y de vdd no cabía en lo que ellos llaman ducha. Peor que un hotel de paso pero bueno por el precio que más podía esperar aún que por poco más e tenido cosas muuuuy buenas

Really poor
I always try to be positive, but, this was one of the poorest hotels we have stayed at. As we approached the hotel we thought it was shut as it was so dimly lit. The receptionist wasn't positive or welcoming, reflecting the ambience in the foyer. The bedroom was very small room and an even smaller bathroom. Mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. We could hear everything from the next rooms..... everything! As people came in through the night their movements and chatter resonated through our room. The bedding smelled stale and the room had the odour of smoking. There was a total of one electrical socket for two people by the beds, but no electrical socket by the desk and chair. The TV was so small it was virtually impossible to see from being in bed. The one positive - the shower was warm. If we could have left for another hotel after checking in, we would have. In light of our experience we chose not to have breakfast, in preference using one of the cafeterias in the vicinity.

Estancia para familias con habitaciones a mejorar
La habitación triple dejaba mucho que desear. Sin poder regular calefacción hacia un calor que no dejaba respirar. No funcionaba la nevera ni ningún enchufe habitación, solo en cuarto de baño con ducha minúscula. Bajamos a pedir una almohada el jueves por la noche y la chica nos dijo que no le quedaban...tienen habitaciones dobles que están bien, pero está triple, que no se si las demás serán igual, nada cómoda

Para cerca de la autovía, si tienes que hacer parada sólo para dormir viene muy bien la ubicación ya que no te has de meter hasta el centro. Y la barriada está muy bien. Y las instalaciones están bastante decentes y modernas en comparación con otros sitios a éstos precios. Lo recomiendo

La zona donde se encuentra no da mucha confianza, el personal es bastante seco y la ducha es un poco rara de utilizar a la par que complicada. Las habitaciones son pequeñas pero prácticas, camas cómodas y las zonas comunes son cómodas. Si es para pasar una noche por algún concierto o evento bien pero no para una larga estancia

Estaba normal el hotel sin más habitación no muy grandes dos camas baño pequeño muyyy pequeño con aire centralizado no por habitación... Silencioso eso sí... Y en general bien pero para ser una habitación supuestamente Deluxe si se puede llamar así faltaban cositas

Buena calidad/precio. Estancia limpia y con un tamaño adecuado para estancias confortable. Muy cercano a la estación de Renfe y con el centro de la ciudad a 5 minutos.

I spent here a couple of nights. The property is very clean, simple but with all things you may need. In a very good position, few minutes walking from the cathedral. The staff is friendly, kind and ready to help: shout out for the receptionist who made my check-in and check-out (Jose if I'm not wrong) who's been always super kind, cheerful Ang happy to help and give good advice. Thanks. Highly recommend.
