Owner was very nice, easy to deal with. Room was decent and clean, and QUIET, unlike some other small hotels I have stayed at in the past. Also, was fairly close to the Lucerne Valley Dry Lake Bed for the three day rocket launch I was attending. Reasonable rates also...will definitely stay again in the future!

The rooms were nice and it's so quiet here the maids are delicate when dealing with u and this is perfect for long term stay for work . The location is prime if u are using company car the grocery store is a twenty min walk

A colleague and I stayed here while on a work trip to Apple Valley. I had read mixed reviews, good and bad. It was very close to our office, so we took a chance. The man at the front desk was VERY nice, very helpful. The room was clean. Very minimalist decor. No actual amenities, but I had already read that so I was prepared. The A/C/heat worked very well. TV worked well. Overall, I can't complain. My only complaint is with Expedia's inability to provide customer service and reimburse my credit card for the unused days since my itinerary changed.

Overcharged, overpriced and underwhelmed.

They charged a $75 deposit in my card in addition to the room charge. They said it was refundable, yet they didn’t refund me. The charge moved from pending to posted. So the room cost me $200 instead of the $125 rate I was quoted for. All I did was drop off my things, went to my event, came back to the room only to sleep and I checked out the next day. I didn’t do anything to the room for them to charge and keep my deposit. At least there were no chalk or tape outlines on the floor. So I guess that’s a good thing. I will never stay here again.

Well, We stayed one night. Check in was easy. Hotel condition, not the cleanest, appeared to have possible blood stains on bathroom door and one bed comforter. We also stated there 3 people staying in the room with 2 queen beds when we made reservation. When we got into room there were only 2 bath towels. Thought I would call front desk to get another set of towels. NO there are no phones in room to call front desk with. We checked in after 7:30pm through a window on front of building not at the actual desk. Poor lighting in rooms, also the bathroom appeared half painted with 2 different colors, like they tried to cover something up with wrong colored paint? Literally you could see the paint line up wall and across ceiling. Place appeared clean on surface But not really sure how deep clean it was so we just left in morning without showers and went somewhere else to clean up. Would not recommend
